Smith Mountain Charcoal Company’s products are made in Rocky Mount from Virginia red and white oak, and if you’ve eaten at Buddy’s BBQ, you’ve already sampled beef brisket and pulled pork smoked for hours over this premium lump charcoal.

Allen “Buddy” Hancock said he’s been using Smith Mountain charcoal at home since he found it at a Roanoke outdoor store a few years ago. Now he uses it to cook for the masses, too.
