Narrow Road (Donna Sink Pediatric Fund) POSTPONED

Advance General Admission - $22 (plus fees)
Day Of Show General Admission - $27 (plus fees)

Narrow Road is one of the most talented Bluegrass Gospel groups in this region. Home based in Mount Airy, North Carolina, they have performed throughout North Carolina and Virginia in churches, at civic events, and at festivals. In 2008, Narrow Road placed sixth at the Galax Festival in the Bluegrass Band category, later placing first in that category in 2012, a remarkable achievement. The strength of this talented group is a commitment to quality musicianship, vocal harmony, and a shared message of faith.
At its core, Narrow Road is a family. In 2005, two sisters and a friend began singing at a Blue Ridge Mountain Baptist Camp meeting. Those sisters, Lyndsey and Heather, are joined by Lyndsey’s husband Nathan Nichols (banjo, guitar, vocals) to make the three-part harmony they are well known for. Heather’s husband, Noah Hunter adds guitar and vocals. Tommy Nichols, Nathan’s father plays bass, and brother-in-law Jake Hiatt adds mandolin and guitar.
Narrow Road is most at home at the many churches that request a performance. But they are also active in civic events in the region and for limited performances for non-profit organizations. It is in this spirit that they have agreed to perform at the Harvester in support of Franklin County’s Donna Sink Pediatric Fund.
The Donna Sink Pediatric Fund, now in its sixteenth year, has provided over $75,000 to families in Franklin County with children who have significant medical needs. One hundred percent of donations received is used for this purpose. The Fund is grateful to the Harvester for the support it offers to community organizations.
