"I've always had fun making music with folks over the years, but I can't remember having more fun jamming than with these two guys!"
 
Madison Williams, guitarist with the Stompers, reflects on the chemistry between himself and bandmates Gary Bowling on drums and Steve Langston on bass. "I had some original tunes collecting dust in my head, and the three of us got together intending to record those songs, not really forming a band to go out and play gigs. We found out quickly that we enjoy more than just each other's musicianship. We jam pretty hard, but we laugh even harder!"
 
The band name itself comes from an inside joke about one particular member's enthusiastic method of keeping time. 
 
Individually, each of the Stompers is a multi-instrumentalist, and each has played in a number of local and regional bands over the years. Their set list consists of Blues, Funk, Rock, and Boogie originals and covers.
